Comptonia peregrina - Sweet Fern
A woody, native shrub that spreads by rhizomes in the ground and is adaptable to many harsh environments. Leaves are similar looking to a fern and are aromatic. The leaves can be used to make herbal tea and some have used it as a cooking herb.
